So I know, I know…it’s been 2 months since my last blog post.  I’m sooooo sorry!  It doesn’t mean I have halted my photography. Not in the least!  It’s been for good reason!  First, since I have such rockin’ clients that keep me in high demand, I literally have been working my butt off from dawn until well after dusk  with little time to think about blog posts (having 3 jobs and studying for a possible 4th during wedding season doesn’t help!) Second and foremost, I have been working on a new branding and a new blogsite to post all the lastest, fun, fabulous photoshoots onto.  And after months of hard work and obstacles along the way…it’s FINALLY here!  Please go check it out!

Also be sure to check out and “like” my new Facebook Page.

When you go over to the new blogsite, be sure to leave some love in a comments section and let me know what you think! 🙂

My friend Judy recently called on me to come visit her at her financial planning office in Solon, Ohio to take some photos of the place and of her staff.  Their sole male team member, Zach, was putting together a new website for them and they wanted some nice photos to include on the side.  I was game for the opportunity!   They are such a warm and welcoming group with such good spirits, that I couldn’t believe when my 1.5 hour time was up!  Below I’ve posted an image of the group.  If you like to see more of my images on their website be sure to check it out here: Financial Network Investment Corporation. And DEFINITELY check them out if you are in need of some financial advice/planning.  You won’t regret contacting them. 🙂

Here's the whole gang: Sharon, Zach, Jewel, & Judy.

When I found out Erik and Katie met playing Warcraft, I knew that their wedding was going to be anything BUT stuffy.  Despite rain storms and stomach bugs causing some last minute changes in their wedding day timeline, Erik and Katie stayed chill and calm on their big day.  They had a few fun tricks up their sleeves as surprises for family and friends on their big day to make it memorable.  Check them out below in some of my favorite shots from the day.

The gals getting ready. This might have been right before the accidental eye poking. haha.

The details of the bodice of her gorgeous dress

Rings and her pretty pink reception shoes

Zipping Katie in!

The gorgeous bride

Father and daughter both look pretty happy!

There were some funny moments during the ceremony. 🙂

the bouquet

Fun times at Danny's Ice Cream & Burgers off of Rt. 91.

Tell me that this couple is not a fun couple? I mean, finger dancing! Love it! 🙂

Who says you can't find perfect photographic backdrops for a wedding in a cemetary? haha.

So sweet!

Nothing says love like sticking out your tongue. Haha

A stolen kiss!

Super Heros!!

I loved that they had Stewie and Brian as part of their cake!

When I walked in and saw John Kerata of the DJ Crew heading the music, I knew there'd be fun dancing.

The girls getting down!

Groomsman dancing with grandmother of the Bride = So cute!!

Here’s a sneak peek of Miss M’s boudoir session.  If you would like to see more images from her session in the post  below, feel free to contact me for the password: tamarak58@yahoo.com.

I met Monai and her mom over at Wade Park by University Circle for a mid-week photoshoot and it was a surprisingly, GORGEOUS Cleveland May day! I forget how much I love this part of Cleveland and we found lots of fun little nooks and crannies to take some fun images of the beautiful Monai.  I swear she must have been keeping up with her America’s Next Top Model, because I barely had to even direct her.  I loved it!  This Horizon Science Academy grad knew how to work the “smize”! haha.  So here are a few of my favorites from the afternoon.  Enjoy!

See? She knew what she was doing! haha

Stunning!

Loved these doors that we found

We lucked out when we found this cute little alcove for some fun shots

We stopped by the Peter B. Lewis building for some pics too. Love her smile here.

I loved the contrast of the bright green against her white, navy, and red clothing choices.

Working the model walk. 😉

The next Ms. Tyra Banks?? You all heard it here first! Haha.

One last shot with some pretty backlight. 🙂

Congrats Monai!

All of you know I do a ton of photos for clients for their kiddos during their 1st year of life.  And I love doing them!  But why stop after that? Who says you are ever too old for family photos?!  They don’t have to be just of the kiddos!  We all tend to forget about taking family photos as the children get older, but we shouldn’t!  With warmer weather here in Ohio again (or at least a peek of it…Ohio weather is always a tease!), why not book a summer or fall photoshoot with your family? Don’t put off tomorrow what you can do today…just book it!  There is nothing like a little family time…and some nice photos to document these special moments with your loved ones. 😉

With that being said…I can’t write a post on a photoblog without photos, right? Here are some photos from some recent family sessions. 🙂

The Paxton Clan

The 'big kids' 😉

The 'youngin's' acting goofy!

The Dolejs family

I spy 'grandma' looking on towards her children and grandchildren. 😉

I think someone thinks her grandfather looks silly with her umbrella! haha

Who says you need a stero-typical pose? Nothing like fun candids to capture the moment.

For Erica and David’s engagement session we headed to downtown Cleveland.  Since the couple will be getting married in a beautiful nature setting in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, they decided they wanted to go for more of an ‘urban’ shoot for their engagements.  With their adorable pupster in tow, they met me downtown East 4th street and we had fun getting in some shots around Cleveland.  Check them out!

They LOVE their pupster so we made sure we got some fun shots that included the pup. 😉

A little pup tongue action!

And possibly a little tongue action between David and Erica...lol. 😉

Aren't they cute?! 🙂

The obligatory shot by the Browns Stadium for the boys. 😉

Take a stroll down East 4th

A tender moment with the Cleveland skyline in the background

Whispering sweet nothings? 😉

So when you photograph babies…you never know what experience you will get when you show up.  Well, sweet little miss Grier welcomed all of us to the start of her afternoon photoshoot with probably the smelliest diaper full of “peas” that I have smelled in quite some time! haha.  While me, mom, and dad were all giving “stink” faces, taking care of business actually made this little missy all smiles. 😉  Guess you gotta do what you gotta do to get a good photo. Lol.  Check out some of our favorite images from her session below.

Dad just told me that he's never feeding me peas again. hahahaha, he's funny.

Hangin' out in the Shaker Lakes Park

Someone's lovin' the slide at the park!

The kiddos seem to really love the grass. She couldn't stop touching it. 🙂

Such a sweetheart in this cute dress and headband

So as luck would have it, the day of my photoshoot with 6 month old Brandon there were some big rain storms (not too strange of an occurence in the springtime in Northeast Ohio) that day which meant no photos outside and a power outage at their house!  Fortunately, we made luck with the natural light that we did have and were able to get some great shots of this handsome little guy.  Check them out. 🙂

I agree with the bib. 😉

A big smile hangin' with Momma

What you don't realize is that this is the 1st time B sat up on his own! 🙂

Tummy time!

Brandon and Dad

I think someone's ready for some Summer beachtime!

B's trick during our photoshoot? Sticking out his tongue. So cute!

With that face, i think he's got his parents wrapped around his finger! 😉
