Melissa and Mike are expecting their first little one this coming December.  As I had posted on my Facebook Page’s wall, Melissa is one of those adorable pregnant gals that I envy, and can only hope I have the same maternal glow one of these days.  *Jealous*  Here are a few favorites from our photo shoot.

Any kicking going on in there? 😉

I love willow trees, so I "had" to get a shot by the one on their yard. haha

A sweet kiss

So adorable

Perfect Belly

See how pretty?! She could be a maternity model! 🙂

Wow.  Can I just say I thought “I” had a lot of energy.  Then I met Miss Katie.  This little lady was a spitfire!  Couch jumping, walking on her hands, playing with her doggies, a pro to their swing and slide.  haha.  I love it!  It made for such an enjoyable shoot with her, her mom & dad, her doggies, and her little sister-to-be.  Here are some images from our mornin’-o-fun!

The calm facade is a cover-up. She's bubbling with energy inside! 🙂

The start of the end of the clean piggies on top of the head...lol

Is there a tickle monster in the room?? 😉

Who's in there, Katie?

They ROCKED the family shot! Everyone's looking at me and the dogs are cooperating!

When I asked them to pose for me, this is what I got...haha.

See? Rocking the the family shot again! (thank you for making my job easy!)

Silly Daddy!

Reading to her puppy...

They would totally kick butt in the family wheel barrow race!

Higher!!

I absolutely LOVE her expression here!

See you guys in about a month for the arrival of your new little girl! 🙂

Ryan and Bryan are expecting their first little one come the end of September and judging by the looks of all the fun, new baby goodies in their home, the beautiful baby room and the glow in the mommy-to-be’s face, they cannot wait for their little boy to get here!

This blue was so pretty on Ryan. Loved the ruffles too!

They were willing to go with my hammock ideas...good sports!

Pregnancy suits Ryan, she's glowing...

One of my favorite shots...

Aren't they cute?!

Can’t wait to meet this guy soon!  Everyone, stay tuned for some newborn images…

Well it looks like Papa Cook will not be seeing the gender numbers even out much with the arrival of baby number three because the Cook family will soon be welcoming the arrival another little lady to the family.  I don’t think he’s going to mind being in a household with 4 beauties though.  Would you?  🙂  I look forward to seeing if baby girl Cook gets ringlet curls on her head like her eldest sister Maddie, or if see gets big, beautiful doe eyes like her sister Gabby.

Here are some of my favorite images from my afternoon with the Cook family.

Not quite sure yet if she wanted to have woke from her nap. LOL

This girl LOVED monkeying around in a tree in their front yard.

Can I PLEASE have her curls? Purdy Please??

I think Gabby decided she wasn't quite ready for the wake-up call...cuddlng with Momma.

The Cook ladies chillaxin' in the sunshine.

A tender moment with baby girl #3.

What a beautiful family

And I’ll leave you with one last shot of Maddie being crazy showing me how she could give me an action shot from, yes, the FOURTH step up their landing!

Fly Girl (in all senses of the phrase!)

UPDATE: Just got word that baby girl Cook – Alaina Lauren was born YESTERDAY evening!  Congrats to the Cook Family!

As many of you know, I walked in the Cleveland Breast Cancer 3-Day walk back in 2008.  Over the course of 3 days, I walked 60 miles in order to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research and education.  It was one of the BEST experiences that I have ever taken part in and would recommend the event for anyone looking to do something amazing for a wonderful cause.  So this coming year, while I won’t be participating as a walker I wanted to do something for this cause that I cherish deeply and….BING!  A light bulb went on in my head and I decided that I would host all-day marathon photo sessions for boudoir or maternity portraits!  Both portrait types, I feel, embrace the beauty and essence of being a woman…a perfect match for the charity I want to support.  This event would be a way in which I could combine two things I love…raising awareness for breast cancer AND taking photos!

So…ATTENTION LADIES out there who are looking for a special gift to give their significant other (fyi, these photos will be ready just in time for Valentine’s day!) or are looking for a special way to remember their pregnancy, now’s the chance!  Join me Saturday, January 23rd, 2010 for a 45-minute session where 100% of the proceeds will go towards the cause!

See the photos below for details.  (Please click on the image to enlarge)

If you would like more information, or are interested in signing up for a spot, send me an email: tamarak58@yahoo.com.  I’ve already received positive interested on this event, so sign up SOON before all the spots fill up!

February 1st is the big day for Megan and Scott.  That’s that anticipated day that they will finally get to meet their new little one.  We will also get to find out if we will be helping them welcome a member to team pink or team blue since they are keeping the gender a surprise until their bundle of joy makes his/her presence in the world.  I love that!

Here are a few of my favorite photos from their session the other week.

This mural in the baby’s room has special significance.  Both of Megan’s and Scott’s fathers have past away in recent years and they wanted to find a way to incorporate them into their baby’s life.  In the photo above, you will see Scott’s father fishing. 🙂  If you love the mural idea as much as I do, and would love to have one done, you can contact the fabulous artist – Michele Sokol Kalafat – through her website here: Dyehearts.

We lucked out with a gorgeous, while cool, day that enabled us to get some shots outside.

I love that Megan & Scott allowed me to take photos of them by what seemed a "blah" spot. They ended up some of my favorites!

I love the lines in this shot!

How sweet and perfect is this?!

Tender moment + FAB lighting = Another favorite shot!

Thank you guys for having some great photo ideas and for being open to some of my crazy ideas.  You made my job all that much easier!  I wish you lots of joy in these last 2 months of pregnancy and I can’t wait to hear the news when your little bundle of joy arrives! 🙂

Last December I had the opportunity to take photos of my friend Tammy and her beautiful family (check the photos out here!) Well, now their family is expanding and Cameron is going to be a big brother in a couple of months! We took some time the other week to photograph the family of three before they expand into a family of four.

Cam, is your baby brother telling you something funny?
