Connor turns 1!

When my friend Brooke asked me to take photos of her son Connor for his first birthday, I was thrilled!  Connor has those “pinch-worthy” cheeks that I was dying to get some photos of and I was very much looking forward to spending the afternoon being inundated with his cuteness!  Below is proof of that cuteness:
See...don't you just want to pinch them?! :-)

After spending 4 days with our friends in Yosemite, we headed west to spend an evening in Napa Valley and a couple days in San Francisco before flying back home to Ohio.  Here are some photos from the 2nd half of our trip:

I was in LOVE with the bathroom in our room!  It’ll be my inspiration for a future master bath. 🙂

Can you tell I LOVED where we stayed while in Napa Valley?!  I would definitely recommend the Harvest Inn to anyone that plans a visit out that way.

Now on to SAN FRANCISCO…

Wish we would have had more time in Napa and SF.  So much to see with so little time.  I guess that just means we will have to go back again some day.  😉

So Brian and I enjoyed yet another WONDERFUL stay with our friends Don & Kathy visiting their home of Groveland and Yosemite National Park.  The beautiful sights and sounds within the park are absolutely breathtaking!  Here are a few of my favorite scenes from our trip:

Windmills!

Windmills!

These windmills aren’t a part of the park, but you see them everywhere when driving around northern CA.  Hopefully NE Ohio will catch on to the trend soon.

Lots of rolling hills and winding roads.

The sun from the wild flower photo of me turned into the clouds above just as we were leaving the park.  We got out “just in time” from the rain/snow (in higher elevation) storm that rolled in.  So the weather stayed nice just long enough for us to enjoy some great hiking in the park.

Thank you so much Don and Kathy for letting us stay with you again!  Hopefully we can make the trip again to visit in the future!

The last few months, Michelle has been working her butt off training and dieting in preparation for a local figure competition that is coming up this weekend.  Let me tell you too, when this girl has a goal in mind, there is no deterring her away from reaching it.  She’s worked VERY hard and these photos show off her AMAZING results!  Don’t we all wish we could look this good!
