For Erica and David’s engagement session we headed to downtown Cleveland.  Since the couple will be getting married in a beautiful nature setting in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, they decided they wanted to go for more of an ‘urban’ shoot for their engagements.  With their adorable pupster in tow, they met me downtown East 4th street and we had fun getting in some shots around Cleveland.  Check them out!

They LOVE their pupster so we made sure we got some fun shots that included the pup. 😉

A little pup tongue action!

And possibly a little tongue action between David and Erica...lol. 😉

Aren't they cute?! 🙂

The obligatory shot by the Browns Stadium for the boys. 😉

For Sharon and Matt’s engagement session, we decided to head back to where it all started…Niles McKinley High School.  🙂  Many times it takes my couples a little time to warm up and feel comfy being “lovey-dovey” in front of the camera.  Not these two though!  They made it easy for me to catch them in those special moments between the two of them.  I’m already getting excited to photograph their big day in September!  Check out a few favorites from their session.

Warm nuzzle or whispering sweet nothings? Probably a little of both. 😉

On a blustery, ‘Cleveland winter’ day last month, I met up with Rachel and Mark in the North Chagrin Reservation to get some engagement photos. This was my first snowy engagement session, but I think we got some photos  around Squire’s Castle.  They were so much fun to to photograph and I loved that they even got in the snow to make snow angels! LOL. Check out photos from our session below!

I loved how the 'freezing' wind gave Rachel a fun wind-blown hair look. They were such good sports in the cold! lol

Time to cuddle to keep warm!

I'm completely jealous of her perfect manicure and her lovely ring.

I love's Rachel's expression in this one along with the snow falling.

I think he likes her kisses! 😉

Can you notice the practically horizontal snow in this photo? Yeah, it was chilly that day! haha

Don't they rock?! haha I love that they got down and made snow angels!

When my friend Debby found out that she was going to have the whole family together for the holidays, she contacted me about getting some family portraits done.  As a bonus, her daughter Erin, who was coming into town from the golden state was bringing home her fiance Stephen.  So why not sneak some engagement photos in there too…which is exactly what we did!  Here are a few favorites.

Debby and her man. Aren't they cute?

The whole gang, including brother, sister, and new addition - fiance Stephen. 🙂

He' looks pretty happy to have found such a pretty lady. 😉

They were all such good sports because it was a FRIGID day!

If this were a photo of my brother and I, we would have never sat this nicely next to each other (yes, even now that we are in our 30s. haha)

Does she not have the best smile?!

They could totally be sisters, couldn't they. 😉

ring shot

Would you ever guess it was probably like 15 degrees with windchill that day? They were such good sports (and good at faking being warm!)

And here the truth about the cold air becomes known with their colorful blanket.

So sweet

And one last photo of Debby with her kiddos.

Can I just say a big THANK YOU to my clients that refer me to other clients?  If it weren’t for one of my favorite clients, I wouldn’t have met the wonderful Sam and Nick.  Can we say sweet, gorgeous couple?  I am so looking forward to photographing their wedding wedding in August because they honestly, cannot take a bad photo! LOL.  For their engagement session we headed to Downtown Cleveland to the East 4th Street  area and looped over by the Cleveland Browns  Stadium.  Here are some of my favorites from the session!

One of their 1st shots and they nailed it. Little did we know the brick wall behind them was cover in mold...ewww.

Who knew an alley could look so good?!

Yes, I'd say they are smitten!

I spy some kissin' going on! haha

The lighting at dusk was just perfect!

This adorably cute couple met up with me at Bonnie Park in the Cleveland Metroparks back in November for their engagement session.  They were in town from Colorado.  My farthest client yet!  I knew when I first talked to Vicki on the phone we were going to hit it off, but when I finally got to meet her and her fiance Dan in person, I knew right away this fun-loving, sweet, couple and I were going to get along just fine.  Looking forward to June wedding!

Hanging out by the waterfalls

Dan did an awesome job in the ring department...good job! 😉

Are they not such a good looking couple?!

Sweet moment

Gotta love the field shot. 😛

Almost had to stop traffic for this shot!

Lots of engagement sessions lately!  For this session, I meet up with Rachel and Jeff (and their adorable doggie Mollie) in downtown Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.  An adorable couple with adorable style!  Here are my favorites!

From the start, I think Mollie wanted to direct the photo shoot. LOL

Beautiful family

Puppy paws + hot boots + Chucks = ❤

LOVED Rach's pearl engagement ring. (Good job Jeff!)

Don't think the pearl's hidden anymore! 😉

I'm in love with this photo of the two of them.

Nothing like an old red door for some cool shots!

Somehow we got lucky with Mollie cooperating in this one! Another fave!

And they thought they weren't photogenic? So not true!

Can't wait to hang out with you guys on 9-10-11!

Back in October I had the opportunity to meet up with Juliann and Neal for their engagement session.  For some reason that day, it seemed like everything was going against us…severe traffic back-up getting to the location and a sudden rain storm.  But it’s funny how things end up working out because as a result of the traffic, we started a little later than planned and that caused us to miss the rain and get some gorgeous shots at the sun peeped out.  Here are a few of my favorites that we took at Virginia Kendall Park in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.  Enjoy!

The trees along the ledges were looking so pretty that day!

I loved that they incorporated their purple wedding color into their session.

Even their adorable pup Oatey got involved in the photo session.

Some sun flare! ❤

Gorgeous even when serious

See? The sunshine that came after the rain was so kind to us. 🙂

Ring shot

They were such good sports to lay down on the damp leaves!

I met up the other week with this adorable couple, and their precious son Henry, at two of my favorite places in the Akron area – downtown Hudson and the Cuyahoga Valley  in Peninsula.  They kept telling me that they were NOT photogenic people, but with their natural good looks and their obvious affection for each other, I think that I would beg to differ. 😉  So put together fabulous shoot locations with a gorgeous couple (and babe!), and you get some rockin’ engagement shots.  Here are a few of my favorites from the afternoon.

They only have eyes for each other.

See? Totally photogenic!

Walking along the Scenic Railroad in the Cuyahoga Valley

Henry showed Mom and Dad how well he could walk with them along the tracks.

A kiss

Uh oh! Run-away baby!

Love!

Loved when Ben pulled Melissa in for this shot! It reminds me so much of the V-J Day kiss in Times Square photo!

Aren't they gorgeous?!

So Cute!

This shot was definitely worth laying in the the grass for!

You guys are a wonderful couple!  Best of luck with the rest of your planning for your Mexico nuptials!
