If you were on the west side of Cleveland the weekend of July 31st, you may have seen throngs of women (and a few handfuls of guys) all decked out in PINK as they traversed through the suburbs of Cleveland walking 60 miles to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer. In order to participate in the Breast Cancer 3-Day, each walker had to raise over $2300 dollars! Last year I had the opportunity to walk this event and it was definitely a life changing experience that I would recommend anyone to give it a shot (don’t let the minimum donation amount or the length of the walk scare you!) While I didn’t get the opportunity this year to participate, I wanted to still go out and cheer on some of the friends I made from last year’s walk (along with Mr. September, from my calendar shoot!) as they got close to finishing up their 3rd day of walking.

A little boy checking out the fun clappers they gave the crowd to cheer on the walkers

Here comes my friend Kevin, along with Mr. September and some of their friends

It was so fun to see how decked out (the pink hat), and giving (the lady handing out popsicles) the crowd can get.

Here come some more walkers!! Wahoo!

Go Team Pink!!
Thank you to all of you that walked in this year’s 3-Day! All your efforts fundraising and training really do pay off and are very much appreciated.
WALK ON!!
