So Brian and I enjoyed yet another WONDERFUL stay with our friends Don & Kathy visiting their home of Groveland and Yosemite National Park. The beautiful sights and sounds within the park are absolutely breathtaking! Here are a few of my favorite scenes from our trip:

Windmills!
These windmills aren’t a part of the park, but you see them everywhere when driving around northern CA. Hopefully NE Ohio will catch on to the trend soon.

Lots of rolling hills and winding roads.

The expanse of the Hetch Hetchy Reservoir (provides water to all of San Fran).

More blue water

Brian lovin' life hiking. What more could he ask for!

Should I enter a strong man competition?

One of my favorite of Brian heading towards the mist of Wapama Falls.

At the bridge at Wapama Falls. It was so pretty right there at that moment.

Don and Brian heading towards Yosemite Falls

It was chilly right by the Yosemite Falls. The spray from the falls was horizontal.

Brian being a goofball with Kathy and Don!

Pretty Flowers!

The hillsides along the Hites Cove trail were COVERED in wild flower.

Storm clouds rolling in.
The sun from the wild flower photo of me turned into the clouds above just as we were leaving the park. We got out “just in time” from the rain/snow (in higher elevation) storm that rolled in. So the weather stayed nice just long enough for us to enjoy some great hiking in the park.
Thank you so much Don and Kathy for letting us stay with you again! Hopefully we can make the trip again to visit in the future!
Great pictures, Tami! I’ll have to try and get out to Yosemite some day.
Great pictures, Tami! They look wonderful!
